What we collect

CyberSecurityPad uses PostHog to understand how visitors find and read our content. PostHog collects anonymous usage analytics: pages viewed, approximate geographic location (country/region, derived from IP and not stored long-term), referrer source, and user-agent. We do not collect names, emails, or other directly identifying data unless you voluntarily submit them through the newsletter form.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email is stored in our newsletter provider (Brevo). We use it only to send you the newsletter you signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email — we delete unsubscribed addresses from our list immediately.

Comments

Article comments are powered by Giscus, which stores comments as GitHub Discussions on a public repository. To post a comment, you need to sign in to GitHub. Your comment, GitHub username, and avatar are publicly visible.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies — strictly to remember your theme preference and to let PostHog identify returning visitors anonymously. No advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking.

Your rights

You can request deletion of any newsletter subscription or anonymous analytics data tied to you by emailing privacy@cybersecuritypad.net. We respond within 30 days.
